Accused of oppression of minorities

In which it is alleged that RSS-affiliated organizations have been part of violence and oppression against religious minorities like Muslims and Christians in India. The Commission has appealed to the US government to impose targeted sanctions on RSS members responsible for alleged violations of religious freedom. Along with this, American officials should also be instructed not to allow any kind of diplomatic honors or high-level meetings to the RSS leadership.

The event is to be held at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Recommendations are not binding, India has been rejecting them

Because India has always maintained that outside countries have no right to interfere in its internal affairs.
