Ludhiana- Giving further impetus to the development works in Sherpur of Ward No. 27 of Ludhiana South Assembly Constituency, MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina inaugurated the Modern Vending Zone being built at a cost of Rs 60 lakh on 100 feet road. On this occasion, MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that the main objective of the vending zone is to provide clean, safe and respectable business space to the hardworking brothers and sisters who earn their living by setting up street vendors.
He said that with the completion of this project, small shopkeepers and street vendors will get better facilities and the beauty and cleanliness of the area will also improve. He said that the creation of vending zones will also reduce the traffic problems caused by haphazard street vendors and will provide a more convenient environment for people to commute.
MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that her first priority is to listen to people's problems and work at the grassroots level to solve them. He said that development work is being carried forward continuously in every ward of the constituency and work is being done with full sincerity to fulfill the promises made to the public. MLA Chhina said that our main objective is to serve the people and all kinds of development of the constituency. Development work will continue like this.
On this occasion, Youth Club Punjab Coordinator Bhupinder Singh Gill, Amarinder Singh Chhabra, Raju Sherpuria, Jatinder Bankia, Suraj Paracha and Sabzi Mandi President Ramdas along with other party leaders and workers were present. Locals and street vendors thanked MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina for this development work.
