Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the Mega Capacity Building Program at Anuvrat Bhawan on Thursday. He said that new avenues of development are being opened for small enterprises in Delhi also. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced to provide training to more than 30 thousand businessmen under the RAMP scheme for MSMEs of Delhi. Under this scheme, loans up to Rs 10 crore are being provided to the businessmen and women entrepreneurs of Delhi from banks without any guarantee or mortgage of property.
The Delhi government is continuously making efforts to give a new impetus to the economy of Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described MSME as the backbone of Delhi's economy.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the Mega Capacity Building Programme, which will benefit over 30,000 MSMEs at a cost of Rs 49.74 crore.
This program was organized by Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) of Delhi Government. Delhi government has signed an agreement with CGTMSE for micro, small and medium industries (MSME) and startups. Under this scheme, loans up to Rs 10 crore are being provided to businessmen and women entrepreneurs of Delhi from banks without any guarantee or mortgage of property.
The broader objective of the RAMP program is also to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs and provide them better access to markets, finance and technology. According to the Central Government, RAMP is a World Bank supported Central Sector Scheme, which is applicable in the period from 2022 to 2027.
More than 200 MSME entrepreneurs have participated in this program. On this occasion, Industries Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa along with senior officials and industry representatives were present. Under this scheme, the government and the trust work together to increase financial security and confidence in loans.
Through this scheme, more than 30,000 MSMEs will be connected with modern skills and training by January 2027. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described MSME as the backbone of Delhi's economy.
