Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has made a big attack on Congress. He said that Congress should understand that the country has now moved far beyond the narrow politics of appeasement and vote bank. 'Vande Mataram' will resonate throughout the country, not incomplete, but with all its six verses and its powerful sound will be heard from the doorstep of the Gandhi family to the Congress headquarters.

Keshav Maurya wrote on social media X, the rope got burnt, but the spasm did not go away. The condition of Gandhi family and its pocket Congress is the same even today. The Congress Working Committee has once again approved its 90 year old decision of singing only two verses of 'Vande Mataram'. This stubbornness of keeping the national anthem incomplete under the pressure of fundamentalists is continuously distancing the Congress from the public sentiments.
He further wrote, this decision of the Congress, which is following the instructions of the Gandhi family, is not inspired by any ideological principle, but by vote bank and appeasement politics. The country has paid a terrible price for politics based on religion in the form of partition, but even today Congress is weighing the symbol of national unity on the scales of religious votes.
Congress should clarify why it is avoiding the mention of Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi and Maa Saraswati? Who is she adamant on giving up four verses of the national anthem to please? His insistence exposes the real face of 'accidental Hindu' mentality and pseudo-secularism.
Keshav Maurya further wrote, Congress should understand that the country has now moved far ahead of the narrow politics of appeasement and vote bank. 'Vande Mataram' will resonate throughout the country, not incomplete, but with all its six verses and its powerful sound will be heard from the doorstep of the Gandhi family to the Congress headquarters.
