A flight attendant working for British Airways in the famous city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, first raped his own female colleague and then also threatened her. The entire matter came to light during the hearing in the court. 30-year-old Kay Ryan Lim is accused of harassing the woman after drinking alcohol with the plane captain. Lim, who hails from Sunderland, is said to have told his colleagues the next morning that whatever happened in his room would remain in his room only. The court was told that after being brought back from the nightclub, the attendant was in the same bed with Lim and another male colleague. She said she felt a hand, which was Lim's, making circular movements on her hip. After this she jumped up from the bed to vomit in the bathroom.
