Lucknow. The Congress MP from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh has suffered a major setback. Congress MP’s son-in-law Shayan Masood has left Congress and joined Samajwadi Party. After taking membership of Samajwadi Party, Shayan Masood also posted a song in support of SP President Akhilesh Yadav on social media platform X.

Along with this, while giving information on its social media handler, Samajwadi Party said that today in Lucknow, Shadan Masood, Shayan Masood and their colleagues from Saharanpur had a courtesy meeting with National President Akhilesh Yadav after taking membership of Samajwadi Party. At the same time, before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Imran Masood’s son-in-law joining SP is being considered a big blow for Congress.

At the same time, Congress MP Imran Masood’s son-in-law and SP leader Shayan Masood said that the Samajwadi Party is performing well in the entire state. You see the acceptance of PDAs is increasing very rapidly. There is enthusiasm among the people that this time there should be change in Uttar Pradesh. We will also work to take the party forward by associating with the party and its ideology and Inshallah will work with strength to give a better result in Western Uttar Pradesh.

On the statement of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Congress MP Imran Masood’s son-in-law and SP leader Shayan Masood said that Akhilesh is one of the most visionary and progressive thinking leaders of Uttar Pradesh. You saw that till date the BJP government has not been able to reach the level of work that Akhilesh ji had done 10 years ago when his government was in power from 2012 to 2017. Be it distributing laptops, distributing bicycles, development projects or construction of highways, this government has definitely tried to copy those projects. But as they say, copying also requires intelligence, and they could not do that either.
