India’s star shooter and Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker reached the Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain early today. He participated in the morning Bhasma Aarti and worshiped Baba Mahakal with full religious devotion. After Bhasma Aarti, Manu Bhakar sat in Nandi Hall and whispered his wishes into the ears of Nandi Maharaj, the vehicle of Lord Shiva. According to religious beliefs, what is said in Nandi’s ear directly reaches Baba Mahakal.

Manu Bhakar, who reached the temple in traditional salwar-kurti, was given a grand welcome and felicitation by the Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee. The officers and employees of the temple administration provided cooperation to him in conducting the darshan and worship in an organized manner.

While talking to the media after the darshan, Manu Bhakar praised the arrangements of the temple and the devotional atmosphere there. He told that he had a desire to come to Mahakal Darbar for a long time. Even though he did not get a chance to spend much time here, within a short time the devotion and well-organized system here made his heart happy.

He appreciated the hard work of the managers and employees of Mahakal Temple and prayed that the blessings of Lord Mahakal remain upon everyone and the countrymen keep moving forward with hard work. Manu Bhakar expressed special gratitude to Scindia Ma’am and all his colleagues for making his Ujjain visit possible.
