Muzaffarpur: A very painful case has come to light from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where a two and a half year old child died under suspicious circumstances. It is alleged that the child's mother mixed poisonous substance in biscuits and fed him. The incident took place in Tengraha North Tola of Rampurhari police station area. The police have taken the woman into custody and started questioning. FSL team was also called to the spot to investigate the matter.
According to the information, Aarti Devi's in-laws and father-in-law had gone out of the house for some work. Meanwhile, the woman allegedly fed biscuits to her two and a half year old son Aryan. After some time, the child's health suddenly started deteriorating. Meanwhile, Aarti's mother-in-law and father-in-law also returned home. Seeing the condition of the child, the family immediately called the village doctor, but by then he had died. The issue of foam coming out of the child's mouth has also come to light.
Villagers arrived after hearing the crying sound
After the child's condition deteriorated, people nearby reached home after hearing Aarti's loud crying. Seeing the scene there, there was chaos among the villagers. As soon as the news of the innocent's death spread, a crowd of people gathered outside the house. The child's grandmother Geeta Devi was in a bad state and crying.
FSL team collected samples
On receiving information about the incident, Rampurhari police station reached the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it to the medical college for post-mortem. At the same time, the FSL team has also collected necessary samples from the spot, so that the evidence to the cause of death can be examined. SHO Anjali Kumari said that Aarti Devi has been detained and she is being interrogated. Further legal action will be taken after receiving the application from the family members.
Aryan's father Akhilesh Ram works as a laborer in Punjab to meet the family's expenses. They have been informed about the child's death over the phone and they have been called home. Aarti is said to be pregnant and she also has another son, Siddhant, who is about one year old. According to the family, there was a dispute going on between Akhilesh and Aarti for a long time. The police are now interrogating and investigating to know the complete reason behind the death of the child. The woman's maternal family have also been called. At present, the real cause of death will be completely clear only after the post-mortem and investigation report.
