These included flight booking failure, problem in web check-in and not receiving payment confirmation. The glitch came to light two days after IndiGo acknowledged a problem with its main reservations platform.
The problem was to IndiGo's main reservation system. This system plays an important role in ticket reservation and many online processes to passengers. A technical glitch in such a system can cause inconvenience to a large number of passengers at once, especially when they are completing the formalities to their flight just before the journey. IndiGo said that its teams, along with its technical partners, were working to fix the problem on priority basis. The airline appealed to passengers to contact the customer support center in case they need immediate assistance and for those traveling later, to try the website or mobile application again after some time.
