The responsibility for transporting the documents to the schools has been assigned to the school heads; they will collect the students' documents from the respective DEO offices and make them available at the schools.
Documents Available at DEO Offices Since August 20
According to the Board's notice, documents related to the Secondary Special and Compartmental examinations of 2026 have been available at the respective District Education Officer (DEO) offices since August 20. These include marksheets, provisional certificates, and other essential records. Revised marksheets have also been provided for students who applied for scrutiny and whose marks underwent changes; such students will also be able to collect their revised documents from their schools.
When Was the Bihar Board Class 10 Compartment Exam Held?
The Bihar Board conducted the Class 10 Compartment and Special examinations of 2026 from May 2 to May 6. The results were declared on May 23, 2026. The compartment examination was conducted for students who needed another opportunity to pass specific subjects or improve their performance. Students were permitted to take the compartment exam for a maximum of two subjects.
What are the next steps for the students?
Students must contact their respective schools to collect their marksheets and provisional certificates. School heads will first obtain the documents from the DEO office, after which the marksheets and certificates will be issued to the students through the school. Students are advised to retain any documents containing essential exam-related information so that verification can be carried out if required.
