Arsenal will begin its Premier League title defence against newly promoted Coventry City at the Emirates Stadium in London on Friday.
The Gunners ended a 22-year wait for the Premier League title last season under former Arsenal player-turned-manager Mikel Arteta. The opener will see Arteta go up against another former player who has moved into management — Frank Lampard.
