Technology Desk: Huawei has officially introduced its new smartphone Pura X View in China. It is a non-folding smartphone, but its design and screen are quite different from ordinary smartphones. The phone has a wide form factor display, whose aspect ratio is 16:9.5. According to the company, this is the world's first non-folding smartphone with such a wide display.

In terms of design, Huawei Pura The company has started pre-reservation for it in China. Huawei's executive director Yu Chengdong has informed on Weibo that the sale of the phone will start from August 28.

Three RAM and storage variants

Huawei Pura It has 12GB RAM in all variants, while options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB are given for storage.

The phone can be purchased in four color options:

Phantom Night Black
leaping shadow red
linen gray
zero degree white
However, the company has not yet made public the price information of all these variants.

6.39 inch wide display

Huawei Pura X View has a 6.39 inch display. Its resolution is 1,320×2,232 pixels. The most special feature of the screen is its 16:9.5 wide aspect ratio.

According to the company, the screen-to-body ratio of this screen is 96.1 percent. Only 1.05mm thin bezels have been provided around the display. Its peak brightness is up to 6,500 nits, while it supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort.

Huawei says that the benefit of the wide screen will be visible while watching videos, reading a book or document and playing games. Its display appears wider than a normal smartphone.

The phone is only 6.68 mm thick

Despite the wide display and big battery, the thickness of Huawei Pura X View is 6.68mm. The weight of the phone is said to be 201 grams. The company has introduced it with a thin design, due to which the phone does not feel too heavy despite having a big battery.

7,000mAh large battery

Huawei Pura X View has a 7,000mAh battery. Such a big battery can be used to run the phone for a long time. The phone works on the new HarmonyOS 7.0 operating system.

Camera information not fully revealed yet

Huawei has not yet shared complete details of the rear camera setup of Pura X View. However, leaked reports have claimed that a triple rear camera setup can be found in the phone.

According to leaks, it may include a 50-megapixel primary camera and telephoto lens. Rest of the information to the camera has not been revealed by the company yet.

Sale will start from 28th August

Huawei has started pre-reservations for the Pura X View in China. Customers can reserve it through the company's Vmall platform. According to Yu Chengdong, its sale will start from August 28.

At present Huawei has not disclosed the price of Pura X View. The complete details of the phone will become clear after the official information about the price and rear camera specifications is revealed by the company.
