Jaipur: A political controversy has erupted in Rajasthan after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) accused alleged BJP workers of attacking its volunteers during a school inspection in Jaipur. CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar, demanding immediate arrests of those allegedly involved and warning of a statewide agitation.

Ranka alleged that CJP members were attacked while they had gone to inspect a government school in Rampura-Kanwarpura village of Jaipur district. According to him, the school had allegedly been operating from a buffalo shed for several years, prompting the party's “School Thik Karo” campaign team to visit the site.

CJP Claims Attack During School Inspection

Ashutosh Ranka alleged that when the CJP team reached the school, some people allegedly attacked them. He claimed that vehicle windows were damaged, mobile phones were broken, and some volunteers were assaulted.

“My shirt was torn, one of our team members suffered a fractured hand, and stones were also thrown at us,” Ranka alleged. He further claimed that police were informed about the incident but action was not taken immediately.

48-Hour Deadline Issued to Madan Dilawar

Addressing Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Ranka said the government must act within 48 hours and arrest those responsible for the alleged attack.

“You have 48 hours. These people must be arrested. Otherwise, we will launch a statewide agitation across Rajasthan,” Ranka said.

He also warned that the protest would not remain limited to the school issue and said CJP would demand the resignation of the education minister if action was not taken.

CJP Threatens Statewide Protest

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said he would travel to Jaipur and stage a protest if repair work at the school did not begin and action was not taken against those accused.

The party leader said CJP would continue its campaign for improving government schools and would not withdraw its demand for accountability.
