Seeing his mother electrocuted, her 23-year-old son, who came to save her, also got electrocuted. It is being told that the woman had come to Chhattisgarh city with her son to meet her daughter. The deceased was originally a resident of Kunra village of Dharsiwa, where her family does agricultural work.

According to the police, the woman’s daughter is studying nursing while living in a rented house in Chhattisgarh city. The woman had come here to meet her daughter. On Friday afternoon she had gone to the balcony to take out her clothes.

During this time she got electrocuted. Seeing the mother stuck to the current, her son came to save her, but he also got electrocuted. Both of them died on the spot in the accident.

According to police officials, as soon as information about the incident was received, the police team immediately reached the incident site in Chhattisgarh Nagar. The police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and have started a statutory investigation.

Police officials said that the bodies of both the deceased have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem after the Panchnama process, so that the exact cause of death can be technically confirmed.

After initial investigation and inspection of the spot, police officials stated that a short circuit had occurred from the body of a cooler running inside the house.

The cooler had direct contact with iron (GI) pipes and wires attached to the balcony for drying clothes, causing high-voltage current to spread throughout the balcony.

According to the police, the woman had gone to take out clothes and got electrocuted. Seeing his mother in pain, while trying to save her, the son also got electrocuted, due to which both of them died on the spot.
