Big decision of Jharkhand High Court, stay on order to cancel JSSC CGL and CDPO exams

Ranchi:Amidst the uncertainty of government recruitment in Jharkhand, the Jharkhand High Court has given an important decision and has put an interim stay on the state government's decision to cancel the JSSC-CGL and CDPO examinations and appointments. With this stand of the court, the crisis of dismissal looming over not only the candidates appearing in the examination but also the selected personnel working in various departments has been temporarily averted.

Jobs of 1,932 selected candidates are currently safe.

Amid the ongoing controversy regarding government jobs in Jharkhand, the High Court has given big relief to 1,932 selected candidates of JSSC-CGL. At present there is no threat to his job.
In fact, on August 18, the state government had decided to cancel 22 recruitment examinations, postpone six and keep 17 under investigation.

The court considered employment and future important

Many petitions were filed in the High Court against this notification of the government. During the hearing, the court took a clear stand and said that until a detailed investigation of legal aspects is completed, the job of any working employee should not be affected. Even before this, while hearing three separate petitions, the court has stayed the cancellation order of the government, which indicates that the court is looking at this entire episode with utmost sensitivity.

PCCF appointment will be debated on Monday

Meanwhile, another important case in the court also remained in the headlines. A partial hearing was held on the ongoing dispute regarding the appointment of the state's Principal Chief Conservator of Forests i.e. PCCF. While commenting orally, the bench said that since the final stage of this appointment process is still pending, it will be discussed in detail on the coming Monday. Sensing the urgency of the matter, the High Court has given strict instructions to the state government to present its detailed affidavit in the court soon. The next hearing of this entire matter will now be held on 15 September 2026, and only then will it be decided what will be the future course of these recruitment examinations surrounded by controversies. Till then, lakhs of youth of the state and already appointed employees will have their eyes fixed on the next decision of the court.
