Prithviraj Sukumaran's new movie, Khaleefa, is off to a flying start at the box office. The film hit theatres on August 20 and has been getting great reviews from the audience. The Censor Board has given it a U/A 16+ certificate.

According to reports from Sacnilk, Khaleefa has already raked in ₹20 crore globally.

The film is directed by Vysakh and the script is by Jinu Abraham, who is also the producer under his banner, Jinu Innovations. Sooraj Kumar, Sreelal Soorapani, and Sijo Sebastian are the co-producers. South Indian actress Malavika Sharma plays the female lead. In the film, Prithviraj plays the character of Maamparakkal Aamir Ali. What's more, superstar Mohanlal makes a special guest appearance as Maamparakkal Ahmed Ali.

The supporting cast is also packed with talent, including Renji Panicker, Sivajith, Indrans, Shammi Thilakan, Shine Varghese, Mohini, Kaira, and Master Nafash. The music by Jakes Bejoy is already a hit, with the songs trending online since their release.
