Jacob Elordi played coy when asked about auditioning for the iconic role of James Bond.

On Thursday, August 20, the 29-year-old Australian actor stepped out for the world premiere of his upcoming film The Dog Stars at London’s Odeon Luxe cinema, where he was quizzed about his reported involvement in the upcoming James Bond film.

In an interview with VarietyElordi faced a question about potentially auditioning for James Bond, but he remained tight-lipped amid the ongoing casting process.

“I’m here on holiday,” he quipped while dodging the question.

Elsewhere in the chat, the Oscar-nominated star opened up about working with The Dog Stars director Ridley Scott, hailing him as the “king of movies” and calling the experience “such a treat — a dream come true.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever have an experience like that. Yeah. He’s one of a kind and he’s a pioneer of modern cinema,” he gushed.
