Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Launch Date: Indian smartphone company Lava is soon going to launch its new 5G smartphone Virat V1 Pro 5G in India. The company has confirmed the launch date of the phone and its availability on Flipkart through its X post. The phone will be launched on August 24, 2026 at 12 noon (IST). However, the company has not yet disclosed its price and complete specifications.

Possible specifications of Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G
According to a report, a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display can be given in Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G. Its resolution is expected to be 1600×720 pixels and refresh rate is 120Hz. For performance, the phone is said to have Unisoc T8200 chipset. It will have an octa-core CPU, whose maximum clock speed can be up to 2.3GHz. Mali-G57 MC2 GPU can be provided for graphics.

According to the report, the phone can be launched in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. An option of 128GB can be available for storage, while support can be given to increase the storage up to 1TB through microSD card.

For photography, Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is expected to have 50MP AI dual rear camera setup. Information about the front camera has not been revealed yet. There is currently no concrete information regarding the battery capacity, but the report claims fast charging support up to 18W.

This new smartphone from Lava can run on Android 16 and is expected to have 5G connectivity. Connectivity features may include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port. Apart from this, 3.5mm headphone jack and side-mounted fingerprint sensor can also be provided in the phone.

According to the report, the weight of Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G can be around 196 grams and thickness can be 8.2mm. The phone is also expected to get IP54 rating, due to which it will be protected to some extent from dust and water splashes.

Virat Curve 5G is also ready along with Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G.
Lava is preparing to further expand its Virat lineup. The company’s current portfolio includes Virat V1 4G and Virat V1 5G, while Virat V1 Pro 5G is going to be launched soon.

Apart from this, Lava Virat Curve 5G can also be included in the company’s upcoming smartphones. This smartphone has been spotted in the GSMA IMEI Database with model number LXX529. The name indicates that it may have a curved display, although Lava has not yet officially confirmed its design, specifications or launch date.

The company can position Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G above the existing Virat V1 5G. Features like 120Hz display, Unisoc T8200 chipset, 50MP camera, Android 16 and 5G support could make it an interesting option in the budget 5G segment.
