A sensational case of knife attack on people walking on the road has come to light in Mangolpuri area of the capital Delhi. It is being told that a person targeted people in public, due to which there was chaos in the area. 6 people have been injured in this incident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Police are gathering information about the reasons behind the attack and the person involved in the incident. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident.
2 injured were referred to Safdarjung Hospital
According to the police, a group of people attacked the pedestrians with knives. At least six people have been injured in this incident. Police said that these incidents of stabbing took place in three different streets of L Block of Mangolpuri. After the sudden attacks, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the area. All the people injured in the incident were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment. Considering the condition of two of these injured, they have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment.
Search for accused from CCTV footage, some suspects are minors
After the stabbing incident in Mangolpuri, the police has intensified the investigation to identify and arrest the accused. Police are examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area. According to initial information, some suspects are said to be minors. Police are interrogating the injured victims and information is also being collected from people living near the incident site. Efforts are being made to identify the people involved in the attack through CCTV footage. In the initial investigation of the police, old enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the attack. However, local people have alleged that the attackers also looted some people.
Teenager stabbed to death on railway track in Mangolpuri
A 17-year-old teenager was stabbed to death near the railway tracks between Nangloi and Mangolpuri railway stations in Delhi. Police officials said on Friday that this incident took place around 6 pm on Thursday evening. According to the police, at the time of the incident, Kishore along with his friend was making a reel with a mobile phone near the railway track in Raj Park industrial area. Meanwhile, three unknown youths arrived there and had a dispute with Kishore and his friends over some issue.
According to eyewitnesses, 3 boys aged around 17-20 years came near them and started interfering in their activities, leading to an altercation between the two parties. During the confrontation, one of the accused allegedly held the victim, while the other passed the knife to his associate, who stabbed him in the stomach. After the attack, the accused fled towards Nangloi railway station, while the victim was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where he died. The officer said a case has been registered and police are examining CCTV footage and gathering technical and local intelligence to identify the accused.
