Mumbai: Swiggy’s social media team has found its latest target, and this time, it is podcast host Amin Jaz. The food delivery brand hilariously dragged him into Apoorva Mukhija’s New York move, leaving the internet in splits.
In its latest Instagram reel, Swiggy shared a mock conversation with Amin titled “ragebaiting Amin Jaz.” The brand appeared to flood his DMs with a suspiciously specific food order that included one New York cheesecake, one New York pizza, one New York burrito bowl and two New York bagels.
After repeatedly mentioning New York, Swiggy ended the conversation with, “Oh sorry, wrong chat.”
The reference was hard to miss. Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, recently revealed on Amin Jaz’s Untriggered podcast that she had moved to New York. Her revelation, along with Amin’s reaction during the conversation, quickly caught fans’ attention.
Swiggy added another layer to the joke with its caption, “List bana raha tha,” while tagging Amin, Apoorva, The Rebel Kid, New York and the Untriggered podcast.
However, it was Amin’s response that made the post even more hilarious. Taking the joke sportingly, he commented, “triggered,” along with a broken-heart emoji.
Apoorva and Amin have been romantically linked by fans for some time, particularly after their recent public appearances and podcast moments. However, neither of them has publicly confirmed being in a relationship.
That did not stop Swiggy from joining the speculation. With one fake food order and Amin’s perfectly timed response, the brand managed to turn Apoorva’s New York move into internet comedy gold.
