Kanpur, Read. In view of the increasing crowd of passengers in trains on Rakshabandhan festival, Railways has announced the operation of special trains. These special trains passing through Kanpur Central and Govindpuri stations will provide additional rail facilities to the passengers for Delhi and surrounding areas.

According to Railways, train number 02275 Subedarganj-Shakurbasti special will operate on 25, 28 and 30 August 2026. In return, train number 02276 Shakurbasti-Subedarganj special will run on 26, 29 and 31 August. Seven AC third, four general, seven sleeper and two parcel coaches will be installed in this train.

Similarly, train number 04147 Subedarganj-Shakurbasti special will make one trip on 26th August. In return, train number 04148 Shakurbasti-Subedarganj special will run on 27th August. This train will have six third AC, one second AC, five general, eight sleeper and two parcel coaches.

Train number 04164 Shakurbasti-Subedarganj special will make one trip on 28th August. It will have four AC third, three AC economy, two AC second, one AC first, four general, six sleeper and one parcel coach.

Special train will pass through Kanpur at 10:50 pm

The special train running from Subedarganj will leave at 8:10 pm. It will reach Fatehpur at 9:15 pm and Kanpur Central at 10:50 pm. After this it will reach Etawah at 12:55 pm, Tundla at 2:20 am, Aligarh at 4:50 am and Delhi at 8:15 am. The last stop of the train will be Shakurbasti at 10 am.

On return it will reach Kanpur at 6:45 pm.

The return train will leave from Shakurbasti at 12 noon. It will reach Delhi at 12:35 pm, Aligarh at 2:10 pm, Tundla at 3:40 pm and Etawah at 4:38 pm. After this it will reach Kanpur Central at 6:45 pm, Fatehpur at 7:48 pm and Subedarganj at 10:30 pm.
