A case has been registered against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke over his recent visit to a government school in Latur district after a teacher alleged that he and his associates entered the premises without permission, questioned students, disrupted classes and threatened teachers.

The FIR was registered at Ausa police station on a complaint by Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali, 53, a teacher at a Zilla Parishad Urdu school in Maharashtra's Latur district.

Dipke has been visiting schools in Latur and highlighting their problems as part of the CJP's ongoing 'School Thik Karo' (improve government schools) campaign.

What Does The Complaint Allege?

According to the complaint, the incident took place around 1 pm on August 20 at the ZP Urdu school in Jawali near Ausa. The school is located over 500 km from Mumbai.

Dipke, Ajinkya Shinde and four to five others allegedly entered the school without permission and remained there for around one-and-a-half to two hours.

The complaint alleges that they entered classrooms, sat among students and asked them various questions, thereby obstructing educational and government work. Dipke allegedly also filmed the proceedings and shared the footage on social media.

The teachers alleged that there was an argument over students from another school being seated in the classrooms during the visit. Dipke allegedly claimed that students from another school had been brought in and made to sit there.

According to the complaint, abusive language was used during the argument and the teachers were allegedly threatened with suspension.

Police Register Case Under BNS Sections

A case has been registered against Dipke and others under sections 132, 329(3), 351(2) and 356(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The sections relate to assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharging official duty, house trespass, criminal intimidation and criminal defamation.

Police are investigating the allegations made in the complaint.

The version of Dipke and the others named in the complaint has not yet emerged. Further details of the incident are expected to become clearer as the investigation progresses.
