Technology Desk: Vivo is preparing to expand its T-Series in India. The company may soon launch the new Vivo T5 5G smartphone. Although the company has not yet announced its official launch date, but has started teasing some important information to the phone.

Currently, Vivo's T-Series includes smartphones like Vivo T5 Lite 5G, Vivo T5x 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G. After the arrival of Vivo T5 5G, another new model will be added to this series.

Vivo T5 5G page goes live on Flipkart

A dedicated landing page for Vivo T5 5G has gone live on e-commerce website Flipkart. This indicates that after its launch in India, this smartphone will be made available for sale through Flipkart.

Information to the phone's software has also been revealed through the landing page. Vivo T5 5G will work on OriginOS. The company is currently offering OriginOS 6 as the latest operating system in its smartphones.

The phone will be equipped with GenAI-ready NPU

Information about GenAI-ready NPU in Vivo T5 5G has also been revealed. NPU i.e. Neural Processing Unit is used in the phone to process tasks to Artificial Intelligence in a better way.

The company is also teasing the fast AI performance of the phone. In such a situation, it is believed that in Vivo T5 5G, AI features and tasks can be processed faster than before.

Focus will be on 3D curved display

A major feature of Vivo T5 5G can also be its display. The company claims that this smartphone will be offered with the thinnest 3D curved display in the price segment of Rs 34,999 to Rs 49,999.

The phone is also reported to have an ultra-slim frame of 7.99mm. This shows that the company is emphasizing on keeping the design of the phone quite thin and premium.

The company's claim regarding this price segment indicates that the price of Vivo T5 5G can be kept below Rs 50,000 in India. However, its actual price will be revealed only at the time of launch.

Awaiting launch date and remaining specifications

Vivo has not yet officially announced the launch date of T5 5G. Complete information about the phone's major specifications like processor, camera, battery, charging speed, RAM and storage has also not been revealed. The company may gradually tease other features to the phone in the coming days.

Big increase in the price of Vivo T5 Pro 5G

Vivo has also recently made a big change in the prices of its T5 Pro 5G. The price of the base variant of the phone with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage has now become Rs 41,999. The price of this model at the time of launch was Rs 29,999. That means its price has directly increased by Rs 6,000. At the same time, the price of the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has been increased by Rs 7,000. After this this model is available for Rs 46,999.

The biggest increase has been seen in the top model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Its price has now become Rs 69,999. With this price, Vivo T5 Pro 5G has now reached the mid-flagship smartphone segment. Information about the official launch date, price and other specifications of Vivo T5 5G is yet to be revealed by the company.
