The Australia vs Bangladesh test match played in Darwin witnessed a surprising result for everyone. Bangladesh won the match by 9 wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series. Due to this, it was expected that Australia would make a comeback in the second test and that is what happened. Australia has taken good revenge for the insult against Bangladesh.
Australia defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 51 runs in the second Test match of the series in Mackay on Sunday (23 August). The result of this match has come in just two days.
In this match which started on Saturday (22 August), Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangladesh's first innings saw a blast from fast bowler Mitchell Starc. He took 6 wickets for 12 runs in 10 overs. Due to his brilliant bowling, Bangladesh's first innings ended at 64 runs.
In reply, Australia was all out for 210 runs in the first innings. Starc also performed brilliantly in the second innings of Bangladesh. He took 4 wickets and Bangladesh's second innings ended at 95 runs.
