A case has been registered against the management of a private university as well as the event manager after a sound system structure collapsed during the pre-release event of Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in Hyderabad on Saturday eveninh. Four people, including a student, were injured in the incident, police said.

Case Registered Against University Management, Event Manager
According to a PTI report, a group of young attendees had climbed onto the stand supporting the sound system when the structure suddenly collapsed. Four people fell and sustained injuries in the incident.
All four were taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. A senior police official told PTI, "One student suffered a leg fracture while three others had minor injuries."
Following the incident, police registered a case against the management of the private university and the event manager in connection with the collapse during the pre-release event of Yash-starrer Toxic, PTI reported.
Yash Stops Speech To Check On Audience
Yash reacted to the situation from the stageb. The actor riefly interrupting his speech after noticing the structure had fallen.
"Is it okay there? Please check...be careful. Are you safe?" Yash asked the crowd.
About 'Toxic'
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is an upcoming multilingual Indian action-crime drama scheduled to release on August 26, 2026. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Rocking Star Yash in the lead role.
The high-budget period film features an ensemble cast that includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
The project is produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions in association with Yash's Monster Mind Creations.
