The troubles of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar have increased. Making objectionable posts on social media against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has cost him dearly. FIR has been registered against Tejashwi Yadav in Kotwali police station of Patna. It is alleged that a video containing indecent and objectionable language against BJP was shared from the official Facebook page of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). In this matter, BJP's media chief Danish Iqbal has lodged a complaint in the police station. Along with Tejashwi, he has also demanded action against Kamlesh Yadav and people associated with a YouTube channel. Along with the complaint, screenshots, link of the video and pen drive have also been handed over to the police. The police have assured investigation into the matter and said that further action will be taken if the matter is found true in the investigation. After this FIR, the political temperature has risen amid election activity in Bihar.

BJP's media chief Danish Iqbal was working in the BJP office. During this time, his eyes fell on RJD's official Facebook page. A video was posted there. In the video, objectionable and indecent language was being used against BJP. It is alleged that in the video an attempt has been made to malign the image of BJP leaders and the party. After the video surfaced, anger spread among BJP workers. Danish Iqbal immediately informed the senior party leaders about this and then reached the Kotwali police station and lodged a written complaint. The complaint states that social media platforms are being misused by RJD. Such videos send a wrong message to the society and may increase tension between two parties. BJP has demanded that this video should be deleted immediately and action should be taken against Tejashwi Yadav under the IT Act.

Attempt to tarnish BJP's image

Apart from Tejashwi, Kamlesh Yadav and people associated with a YouTube channel have also been made accused in the complaint. BJP alleges that this video was first uploaded on YouTube channel, which was later shared on RJD's Facebook page. This has been done as part of a well-planned conspiracy to tarnish the image of BJP. Danish Iqbal has given the police the link of the video, screenshots of the Facebook post and the complete video in a pen drive as evidence.

He has said that such objectionable posts are being made continuously by RJD. Even before this, misleading posts have been made against BJP many times. BJP has demanded from the police to investigate the social media handles of RJD and find out at whose behest this post has been shared. Police have registered the case based on the complaint and started investigation with the help of cyber cell.

Political heat increased after the case was registered

Here, after this FIR, the stir in the politics of Bihar has intensified. There has been no official statement from RJD on this matter yet, but sources close to the party say that this video was not against BJP but against its policies. BJP has said that use of abusive language against any party in the name of freedom of expression will not be tolerated.

Kotwali police station says that a complaint has been received and the matter is being investigated. Police are finding out who made the video, who uploaded it and why it was shared from RJD's page. If the allegations are found true in the investigation, then further action will be taken under the sections of IT Act and defamation. Currently the video is going viral on social media and supporters of both the parties are accusing each other.
