Mumbai The father of comedian Rajiv Thakur, who played the character of 'Raju' in 'The Kapil Sharma Show', has passed away. The news of his demise was confirmed by his co-star and friend Krushna Abhishek. He was going to perform with Rajiv in Indore today. He came to know about this tragic incident only after he had boarded the flight. As a tribute, the organizers and Krishna have decided to reschedule their shows in Madhya Pradesh.

In a video shared by the organisers, Krushna Abhishek gave fans the sad news of Rajeev Thakur's father's demise. He said that I have just reached Indore. I have a sad news to share with you. Just as we were about to take off for Indore, the father of Rajeev Thakur, who was to perform with me, passed away. He also told that the Indore show is being canceled at present. At the same time, Rajiv has not yet issued any official statement. The cause of his father's death is not yet known.
