The country's leading mass-premium automaker Kia India today unveiled the first official images of its flagship 3-row SUV 'Kia Sorento' ahead of its launch in India. Along with this, the company has started local production of Sorento at its factory in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, and the first 'Made-in-India' Sorento rolled off the production line today.

The Kia Sorento is Kia's first hybrid SUV for India to come with all-wheel drive. This vehicle combines electrification and advanced driving capabilities at the same time. The Sorento will be available with a hybrid as well as a powerful diesel engine option, giving customers the freedom to choose according to their needs.

Leading the way in technology, the Sorento will be the first Sorento globally to feature the Kia AI Assistant based on 'Live Generative AI'. This technology is coming for the first time in Kia's global portfolio, and it is also the first arrival of Live Generative AI in the automotive industry in India. Unlike traditional voice assistants, this AI provides an interactive experience with real-time and updated information.

The unveiled images clearly show the Sorento's imposing shape, muscular road presence and distinctive exterior design. Based on Kia's global design philosophy, this SUV offers premium interiors with a highly safe and comfortable 3-row seating layout.
