Regarding the Kanwar Yatra to be held on the fourth Monday of Shravan month, District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police Aditya Langhe conducted on-site inspection of the Kanwar Yatra route in Tundla area. DM and SSP inspected the Kanwar Yatra route from Tundla intersection to Nihal Singh culvert on Tundla-Etah road. During this, the officials took stock of the facilities, security arrangements and traffic management of the devotees on the route.
The officials also inspected the Kanwar camps set up on the Kanwar route and inquired about the arrangements available for the devotees there. Necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officers regarding the convenience and security of the Kanwadis. The District Magistrate and SSP directed the officers that no devotee should face any inconvenience during the Kanwar Yatra and the security and traffic system should be maintained completely well on the Yatra route. The administration and police are fully alert on the fourth Monday of the month of Shravan.
