GISAT-1A News: India has done many such things in the world of space, due to which many countries have had to bow before India. Now once again India is preparing to create history. A big work for India in the field of space exploration was pending for 7 months. Which now the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is ready to complete. Actually, ISRO has not been able to send a single mission into space for the last 7 months. But, now a big and good news has come out regarding this.

ISRO is now going to start sending the space mission into space again after a wait of 7 months. According to government sources, this time the main weapon of ISRO will be the GISAT-1A (EOS-05) satellite, which will be sent into space through the GSLV rocket.

After a break of 7 months, ISRO is ready to roar once again. It is believed that ISRO will land on the launch pad. No new mission of ISRO was sent into space for the last seven months. Ending this long break, ISRO is going to launch its very special satellite GISAT-1A in the first week of September. This satellite will be sent into space through GSLV rocket.

According to government officials, this mission is very special for ISRO because it is the first major step of the agency after the failure of PSLV-C62/EOS-N1 mission on January 12. Recently, Union Minister Jitendra Singh had told in the Parliament that currently only three satellites are working in India’s NavIC system. To provide basic positioning service, it is very important for at least four satellites to be active.

GISAT-1A is part of ISRO’s Earth Observation Satellite series, called Geo Imaging Satellite-1A. It is considered to be much more powerful than other satellites. It is an advanced Earth-observation satellite. The main function of this satellite is to do high-frequency imaging of the Indian territory. It works very fast and will remain in space with a tremendous capacity. GISAT-1 was launched on 12 August 2021 via GSLV-F10, but due to a technical problem in the cryogenic upper stage, the mission could not reach the scheduled orbit.

GISAT-1A has been designed with many latest features and tremendous capability. GISAT is seen as a sophisticated geo-imaging platform rather than just a simple camera satellite. It will be used to monitor natural disasters like floods, storms and landslides.

Not only this, it has also been designed to keep an eye on things like landslides and storms. GISAT-1A has high temporal resolution, tracking multiple images every 5 minutes. It can also give information about weather up to 36 thousand kilometers. It has the ability to tell about forest fires, floods and many other emergency situations.
