Iran is considering the proposal

In one of its reports on Saturday, Al Mayadeen quoted Mehdi Rahimi, chief of the Iranian Parliament’s news agency, as saying that he has shared information about the invitation Iran received for the Mecca Agreement. He also said that this proposal is currently being discussed.

These countries signed

Quoting Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry and the official Saudi Press Agency, AFP reported in its report that these countries have announced the signing of this Mecca Joint Defense Agreement. Under this, if any one country is attacked, all three countries will be considered attacked.

Trump welcomed

Amid tensions in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump has claimed control of the Strait of Hormuz. On the other hand, he has welcomed this agreement. Trump has expressed happiness on social media that finally Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have signed it. He has called it a bold and historic step.

Bangladesh’s newly appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir has issued a statement regarding this deal. News agency PTI reported that Bangladeshi diplomats will also strengthen bilateral relations with Pakistan through talks.
