The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the city intimation slip for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET September 2026) at any time. Once released, a direct link will be made available on the official website, ctet.nic.in, allowing applicants to download the slip by entering their login details.
In the previous session, the city slip was issued approximately 15 days before the exam; therefore, it is expected that the slip will be made available sometime this week.

**Expected Date for Admit Card Release**
Admit cards for the CTET exam may be released four days prior to the exam date. Consequently, it is anticipated that the admit cards will be available for download on September 2 or 3.

**Steps to Download the City Slip**
To download the CBSE CTET city slip, first visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
On the website's homepage, locate the 'LATEST NEWS' section and click on the link labeled "View Date & City for CTET Sept-2026."
Next, enter your application number, date of birth, and the provided security pin, then click the 'Submit' button.
The city slip will then appear on the screen; you can download it and take a printout.
After downloading the city slip, candidates can verify details regarding their exam city and make travel arrangements in advance.

**Exam Date and Shift Timings**
CBSE will conduct the CTET exam on September 6, 2026, across designated centers nationwide in two shifts. Paper II will be held in the first shift, scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Paper I will be conducted in the second shift, scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
