Delhi Software Engineer Vinay Gupta Murder Case: Delhi Police has unveiled the murder case of Software Engineer Vinay Gupta in Delhi. Software engineer Vinay Gupta has been murdered by his wife and her parents. The wife had switched off the CCTV to commit the crime. After this, 6 people were called from the maternal house. After this, the entire incident was carried out within 12 minutes. Taking action, the police arrested four people including Vinay's wife Rekha, his father Gyan Chandra Jindal and two brothers. While two people are still absconding. At present the police is investigating the matter.
According to the family, there was a dispute between Vinay and his wife Rekha on Friday regarding giving medicine to the child. After this Rekha went out of the house. After about 10 minutes she returned with 6 people including her father, two brothers, elder sister-in-law and uncle.
According to Vinay's mother, there was a minor dispute between the husband and wife regarding giving medicine to the child. It is alleged that Rekha got angry due to Vinay talking loudly and she left the house. After this, the matter turned violent when he reached his parents' house. Vinay had brought water for the people who had come from his maternal home. However, instead of talking to him, they started beating him. It is alleged that Vinay was strangulated and he was attacked with hands and feet on his chest. After the beating, he fell in the room and became unconscious. According to the mother, she tried to save her son, but Rekha grabbed her arm and pushed her away. At that time Vinay's father and sister had gone out of the house.
Allegation of switching off CCTV before the incident
Vinay's family has alleged that just before the incident, Vinay's wife had switched off the CCTV cameras installed in the house. Because of this, the incident could not be recorded directly on the home cameras. However, the neighbour's CCTV camera captured the activities of people entering the house and coming out after the incident.
The neighbor carried him on his shoulders and took him to the hospital.
While the accused were leaving the place, neighbors caught some people and informed the police. Meanwhile, Vinay's condition was so bad that he was not able to stand on his feet. At the request of Vinay's mother, a young man from the neighborhood carried him on his shoulders and took him to the hospital. Even in the CCTV, the neighbor is seen taking Vinay out of the house in an unconscious state. However, Vinay died during treatment in the hospital.
What happened in 12 minutes
According to the information revealed from CCTV, at around 1:12 pm, people including Rekha's father, brother, sister-in-law and uncle reached home from her maternal home. The family alleges that Vinay was beaten up after their arrival. At around 1:24 pm, neighbors reached the spot and took Vinay out of the house in an unconscious state. After this he lifted him on his shoulders and took him to the hospital. Died during treatment.
Became father of twins just four months ago
Vinay was a software engineer in Noida-based Adobe company and his annual package was around Rs 60 lakh. About three and a half years ago, he was married to Rekha, a resident of Budh Vihar. About four and a half months ago, both of them became parents of twins. He has a son and a daughter.
