Recently, Himanshi Khurana made many revelations about her relationship in Paras Chhabra’s podcast. Where he also told how his toxic relationship affected his health. The actress told that she was suffering from anxiety, depression, thyroid, high blood pressure, frequent nose bleeding and acne on her face. According to Himanshi, the stress of the relationship was clearly visible on her body as well.
In fact, constant stress and mental pressure not only disturb the mind but can also affect the body. Staying in a toxic relationship can cause poor sleep, restlessness, stomach problems and increase some pre-existing problems. However, not every disease is caused by a bad relationship, so if symptoms persist, it is important to consult a doctor.
What did Himanshi tell about her health?
According to Himanshi, both her mental and physical condition were affected during the bad relationship. He told that he felt anxiety and depression frequently. Along with this, he also suffered from thyroid and hypertension problems. He also said that sometimes his nose started bleeding suddenly. Apart from this, problems to hair, rapid hair fall and acne on the face also started occurring.
Can a bad relationship really make the body sick?
Prolonged stress can affect the body, but it would not be right to say that every disease is caused only by bad relationships or stress. Due to continuous stress, stress hormones can remain active in the body for a long time. This can affect sleep, digestion, mood, heart and blood pressure. For example, long-term stress can be associated with anxiety and depression. Stomach pain, gas, indigestion and sleep problems can also increase during stress.
What is the connection between high blood pressure and nose bleeding?
During times of stress, certain hormones increase in the body, due to which heartbeat and blood pressure may increase for some time. However, there is not enough evidence to believe that stress alone is a direct cause of long-term high blood pressure. Nose bleeding can also occur due to many reasons. This symptom can be seen in very high blood pressure, but nose bleeding does not always mean high BP.
What is the connection between thyroid and anxiety?
A relationship has been observed between thyroid disorders and mental health. In some thyroid problems, symptoms like anxiety, depression and difficulty in concentrating may appear. But it would not be correct to say that stress or bad relationships cause thyroid disease. There can be many other reasons behind this also.
Can it affect acne and hair also?
Stress can aggravate already existing acne. Changes in hormones can also be a major cause of acne. Therefore, it is possible for skin problems to increase during times of stress, but it is not necessary that this happens in every person.
