Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2continues to perform strongly at the box office, with the film completing 10 days in theatres on Sunday (August 23). Released on August 14 alongside Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947, the sequel has maintained its lead over its competition and remained steady in its second week.
The film has benefited from consistent audience footfalls and positive word-of-mouth. It has now emerged as one of the stronger theatrical performers of the year.
According to Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 earned Rs 8.75 crore net in India on Day 10. The film recorded around 21 per cent occupancy across 13,632 shows on its second Sunday.
With the latest collection, the film's India net total has reached Rs 136.25 crore, while its India gross collection stands at Rs 162.50 crore.
