Frequent Fatigue Signs: Feeling tired as soon as you wake up in the morning, suddenly feeling dizzy while working or being troubled by headache every day… all of us must have experienced these problems at some point or the other. Many of us ignore these symptoms considering them as normal weakness or the effect of busy routine. But, sometimes small changes in the body can also indicate some internal problem. It is not necessary that every time fatigue or headache is a sign of a serious disease, but if these symptoms occur frequently, persist for a long time or their intensity increases, then it is better to consult a doctor instead of ignoring them.
1. Constant fatigue
If you feel weak or tired all the time despite getting enough sleep, there can be many reasons behind it. Fatigue can also persist due to iron deficiency anemia, sleep problems, stress, thyroid problems or any infection. If daily tasks start getting affected, then it is important to know the reason.
2. Frequent dizziness
Slight dizziness when standing suddenly can sometimes be due to changes in blood pressure or lack of water in the body. But frequent dizziness, loss of balance or feeling faint along with it may indicate the need for investigation. In such a situation, instead of taking medicine on your own, seek medical advice.
3. Frequent headaches
Not every headache is a sign of a serious brain- disease. Reasons like stress, lack of sleep, dehydration, excessive pressure on eyes or migraine can also cause headache. But if the headache suddenly becomes very severe, occurs repeatedly or is accompanied by symptoms like weakness, trouble speaking, changes in vision or confusion, then immediate medical help should be sought.
4. Shortness of breath or rapid heartbeat
Feeling short of breath during a simple activity like climbing stairs or feeling your heart beat faster without exertion can also be signs to pay attention to. There can be many reasons behind this, from anemia to heart or lung problems.
5. Sudden change in weight or appetite
Rapid weight loss or gain without any effort and change in appetite for a long time can also be a sign of some change in the body. This can happen due to thyroid, diabetes, digestive problems and many other reasons.
When is it necessary to visit a doctor?
The occasional occurrence of any one of these symptoms is not necessarily a sign of disease. But if the symptoms persist, increase or several symptoms appear simultaneously, then it is wise to get checked by a doctor. Especially consider symptoms like sudden severe headache, fainting, severe difficulty in breathing, chest pain or sudden weakness in any part of the body as an emergency and seek medical help immediately.
