Ardee Industries, MV Electrosystems, State Trading Corporation of India and Vineet Laboratories can announce their quarterly results on Tuesday. Signals given regarding earnings, profits and future business of these companies can cause fluctuations in the respective shares.
Important news to international expansion has come out for TCS. The board of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Tata Consultancy Services Netherlands BV has approved the acquisition of 100 per cent equity stake in MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH, a subsidiary of Porsche AG.
The deal is reported to be at an enterprise value of around 320 million euros. This acquisition can be seen as an important step towards strengthening TCS’s presence in European markets and technology consulting business.
Aegis Logistics Business Transfer Agreement
Aegis Logistics has entered into a business transfer agreement with its step-down subsidiary Aegis Terminal (Pipavav) worth approximately Rs 525 crore. Under the agreement, the 36,000 MT capacity special ammonia storage terminal located at Pipavav Port will be transferred through ‘slump sale’. Kotak Mahindra Bank has raised US$650 million in the form of 5.478 per cent senior notes maturing in 2031 under its Euro Medium Term Note programme.
At the same time, ICICI Bank has fixed the price of senior unsecured fixed rate notes worth $1 billion under its $7.5 billion Global Medium Term Note Program. Foreign funding activities of both the banks may remain in focus of investors.
Keep an eye on Great Eastern Shipping’s buyback proposal
The board of Great Eastern Shipping Company will consider the buyback proposal of fully paid-up equity shares of the company on August 27. Due to the possible announcement of buyback, the company’s shares may remain in discussion in Tuesday’s trading. Piramal Finance launched Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) on August 24. The company has fixed the floor price per share at Rs 2,102.65 and is expected to raise around Rs 2,100 crore from the issue.
The board of HEG has appointed Riju Jhunjhunwala as the chairman, managing director and CEO of the company, giving new responsibility. His appointment will be effective from September 1, 2026 and his tenure will be till August 31, 2031.
Coal India’s global expansion
Coal India has launched its subsidiary CIL Global in Singapore. The company aims to explore opportunities involving significant mineral properties overseas, improve investment management and create greater flexibility for future acquisitions. UCO Bank has been approved to issue debt instruments to raise foreign exchange up to US$1 billion. On the other hand, Afcons Infrastructure has received an award of around Rs 335.50 crore in the arbitration case with UPEIDA.
