Napoli have made Chelsea youngster Marc Guiu their main target as they look to add to their forward line before the summer transfer window closes. The Italian club are ready to put together a sizeable financial offer to land the Spanish striker, who is keen to secure more regular first-team football.

Napoli begin formal push for Guiu

Napoli are set to ramp up their attempt to sign Guiu from Chelsea, with reports suggesting the Partenopei have placed the young Spaniard at the top of their list for the closing days of the market. According to Sky Sport Italia, the club are willing to submit a package worth around €15 million to €16 million, along with performance-related bonuses, to complete a permanent deal for the striker. The move comes as Massimiliano Allegri seeks to reshape his attacking resources after a spell of uncertainty over the club's offensive production and squad make-up.

The interest from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona is far from casual, with Napoli's hierarchy seeing the former Barcelona academy player as a strategic signing for both the short term and the long term. Since joining the Premier League club in 2024, Guiu has been stuck in what has been described as a kind of Stamford Bridge limbo, finding it difficult to earn regular game time in an overcrowded squad.
