A shocking revelation has come to light in Britain, in which it was told in the court that a man killed his live-in partner by stabbing her 70 times and then also attacked her daughter with a knife. Alan Dore, 48, is accused of murdering 52-year-old grandmother Samantha Turner at her home in Shepherd's Bush, West London, on Tuesday (August 18, 2026). He is also accused of stabbing Samantha Turner's 32-year-old daughter, Keely Turner, when she tried to intervene.

Alan Dorr was in a relationship with Samantha Turner and lived nearby. Appeared at the Old Bailey in London to face charges of murder and attempted murder. Philip McGhee, prosecuting, said the charges in the case included a fatal domestic assault with a knife. The court was told that Keely Turner was in an upstairs room of the family home (located on Askew Road) when she heard her mother screaming. After going down, he allegedly tried to stop the accused. However, he was stabbed first in the stomach and then in the back.

McGhee said he then called 999 at 8.19am to report that his mother had been stabbed and told him to “hurry up, he's going to kill her.” Grandmother Samantha Turner was allegedly stabbed 70 times by her partner Alan Dorr. Keely Turner remains in hospital, although her injuries are not expected to be life-threatening. Dorr appeared in court via video-link from Wandsworth Prison and spoke only to confirm his identity. Judge Simon Mayo KC set a timetable for the case, including a plea hearing on November 9 and a three-week provisional trial from May 17 next year.
