BPSC Students Protest: A month ago there was a protest in Delhi under the leadership of Cockroach Janata Party. Competition has increased due to private sector education. During this protest, the protesters who left Gandhi Maidan tried to enter the restricted area by moving ahead. It also came to light that the barricades erected by the police were broken. Keeping in view the situation, security arrangements were increased in many important areas of Patna. The police appealed to the protesters to maintain peace and not enter the restricted area.

What are the major demands of students?

The protesters have raised several demands to BPSC and other recruitment processes. Students have demanded complete cancellation of additional weightage given to contract employees in recruitment. What is the Controversy of 70th BPSC Exam?

The main issue of the agitation is the 70th BPSC examination. As per the allegation of the protesting candidates, there have been irregularities in the examination and a thorough investigation is required into the alleged paper leak case. The students have demanded that the examination be canceled and the examination conducted anew. The protestors demand that the administration should give a clear answer to the questions raised regarding the reliability of the examination and clear the doubts of the candidates.

TRE 4.0 also calls for change

Discussion with the students by the administration

After the protestors tried to enter the restricted area during the march, the police instructed them not to proceed further. The administration appealed to the students to maintain peace and withdraw the march. DSP Kamakhya Narayan Singh said that there was a positive discussion between senior officials and student representatives. The administration also hoped that the students would withdraw the march after the discussion.

On the one hand, the police are trying to control the situation, on the other hand, the protesters are firm on their demands. Hence the issue of 70th BPSC exam, transparency in recruitment process and proposed changes in TRE 4.0 has once again come to the center of discussion.
