A US Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport after flying from Riga, Latvia, according to flight-tracking data. The Kremlin said it had no information about the aircraft and no US meetings were planned. The unexplained visit has triggered speculation about a possible diplomatic mission or prisoner exchange amid stalled Russia-Ukraine talks.

A US Air Force transport aircraft landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport on Tuesday, according to data from flight-tracking website Flightradar24, even as the Kremlin said it had no information about the aircraft.

The Boeing C-17 Globemaster, bearing a US-registered tail number, arrived in Moscow from Riga, Latvia, at around 0700 GMT, Reuters reported.
