As per the instructions of Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Bagish Kumar Shukla, Deputy District Magistrate Zafar Ahmed inspected the quality of the construction work being done in Ward No. 6 of Nagar Panchayat Dala on the spot. During the investigation, on-site inspection of the construction work was conducted in the presence of the complainant Rajesh, whose wife is a councillor.
During investigation the complaint was found to be true. On the spot, use of bhassi (ballast dust) was found instead of cement and sand in the connection of the side wall along the CC road. Besides, the prescribed height of 6 inches of casting of CC road was also found to be less on the spot. When the quality of the construction work was found not to be up to standard, the work was immediately stopped.
The Deputy District Magistrate instructed the concerned contractor to issue a notice regarding non-compliance of the prescribed standards in the construction work. Besides, Nagar Panchayat Dala's Executive Officer Akhilesh Singh and concerned Junior Engineer Om Tiwari were directed that the further construction work should be done under their direct supervision with prescribed standards and quality materials.
