The League Phase is back, with five English clubs looking to knock Paris Saint-Germain off their perch.
The Champions League draw is the main event this week, with five Premier League sides set to take part.
English champions Arsenal and runners-up Manchester City are joined by Manchester United and fifth-placed Liverpool, while Aston Villa return to the competition after winning the Europa League and also finishing fourth last season.
Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal on penalties in last season’s final and have added further strength over the summer, leaving them as favourites to lift Europe’s biggest club prize for a third straight campaign.
Arsenal are widely seen as the side most likely to challenge PSG’s hold on the trophy, with Spanish heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid also in the frame - the latter now under Jose Mourinho for a second spell.
The draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League will be held today, Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5pm BST.
The event will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Arsenal will be aiming to go one better than last season.
TV channel: The draw will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 1. Coverage begins at 5pm BST, with the draw getting under way shortly afterwards.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also watch the event live online through the HBO Max app and website.
UEFA.com will also carry the draw live free of charge.
All 36 qualified clubs will be split into four pots of six according to their club coefficients at the start of the season.
The pots will be finalised on Wednesday evening after the play-off ties are completed.

Manchester United are back among Europe’s elite.
Under the new format, teams will play eight matches in the new league phase. Rather than facing three opponents twice, home and away, clubs will instead come up against eight different teams, with four matches at home and four away.
To decide those eight opponents, the teams will first be placed into four seeding pots.
Each club will then be drawn against two opponents from each pot, playing one match at home and one away against teams from every pot.
