Haiwaan Trailer: The pair of Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar i.e. Akshay Kumar and Nawab Saif Ali Khan is once again all set to create a stir on the big screen. The duo was last seen together in the 2008 film ‘Tashan’, and now after a long wait of 18 years, both these powerful actors are going to be seen face to face in director Priyadarshan’s dark psycho-thriller film ‘Haiwaan’. On Tuesday, the makers have released the very suspenseful and hair-raising official trailer of this film, after watching which the excitement of the fans has reached the seventh sky. In this 2 minute 34 second video, Akshay Kumar is seen as a dreaded and dangerous villain leaving his comedian style and hero image, while Saif Ali Khan is seen in the role of a blind man saving his life and fighting the murderer. This film is said to be the Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s superhit Malayalam thriller ‘Oppam’, which is all set to release in theaters on 11 September 2026. Will Khiladi and Nawab be seen face to face on screen?

The trailer begins with the fear spreading across the city and mysterious murders happening one after the other, where many policemen and their families are targeted. The police are entangled in this dark web as to who is behind these murderous incidents. Amidst this chaos, Saif Ali Khan enters in the form of a blind man, who accidentally gets entangled in this whole mystery and is arrested by the police. After this a dangerous cat-and-mouse game begins. Saif is seen trying to get out of this deadly game by using his heightened other senses, such as the ability to recognize voices.

Akshay in the most dangerous avatar till date

In the film, Akshay Kumar has played a character about which he himself has said that his role is not completely ‘grey shaded’ but out-and-out evil i.e. completely evil and dangerous. His actions and cruelty in the trailer clearly show that he is a cold-minded and cunning psychopath, who is burning in the fire of revenge. In one of his interviews, Akshay told that he always wanted to play the role of a psycho on screen and unlike his previous films (comedy, horror, action and drama), this was a big challenge for him. The clash and psychological tension between the two in the trailer shakes one to the core.

In this thriller film directed by Priyadarshan, not only Akshay and Saif, but many great actors are also going to be seen in important roles.
