Maharashtra has decided to withdraw its August 14 GR on government-run tribal hostels and the revised guidelines issued under it. Tribal Development Minister Ashok Uike said the age restriction for hostel admissions will be removed, while officials will formulate a student-centric system to improve admissions, facilities, administration and supervision.
