New Delhi . Salman Khan is counted among those Bollywood stars whose films create a unique craze among the audience. Along with the story in Salman Khan's films, his songs also remain on people's lips for a long time. But do you know that once upon a time, two songs filmed on him were removed from one of his very popular films. The special thing was that after the release of the film, the audience liked it so much that the makers had to change their decision and include both the songs in the film again. This film was Sooraj Barjatya's blockbuster film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, released in 1994.

Madhuri Dixit was seen in the lead role with Salman Khan in this film. The story of the film was woven around family relationships and emotions and after its release it received tremendous love from the audience. However, before reaching the theatres, a major concern had come to light regarding the film. The film was quite long and included many songs. In such a situation, it was suggested by the industry and critics that the film should be shortened a bit, so that the audience does not find it long.

It is said that keeping this feedback in mind, director Sooraj Barjatya had removed two songs from the film. Both the songs were to the character of Salman Khan. At that time the makers felt that removing the songs would reduce the length of the film and improve its pace. But when the film was released in theaters on August 5, 1994, the story changed.

The audience liked the film so much that its popularity forced the makers to change their decision. There was a tremendous craze regarding the songs of the film also. After this, both the removed songs were included in the film again. Interestingly, Lata Mangeshkar lent her voice to both the songs.

The first song was Chocolate Lime Juice. This song became one of the most memorable songs of the film. It was written by Dev Kohli and Lata Mangeshkar's voice gave this song a special identity. This song, popular among children and families, further enhanced the light-hearted and family atmosphere of the film.

The second song was Mujhe Juda Kar. This song was also sung by Lata Mangeshkar while the male voice was by SP Balasubramaniam. The song left a deep impression on the audience along with the emotional story of the film. This was the reason why the decision to remove both the songs could not be sustained for long.

The success of Hum Aapke Hain Koun also proved that sometimes the audience's choice has the power to change the final form of a film. The songs of the film had become an important part of its identity and removing them could have been costly for the makers. The tremendous response received after its release proved this.
