Women tied Raksha Sutra to the Chief Minister, CM wished Rakhi to everyone

On the occasion of the public meeting organized with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister Camp Office on Monday, women from different areas of the state tied the Raksha Sutra and wished for his long life. Expressing his gratitude to everyone, the Chief Minister extended best wishes for Raksha Bandhan.

The Chief Minister said that for the convenience of the sisters, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, arrangements have been made for free travel in Transport Corporation buses for two days on August 28 and 29, 2026. He said that the state government is also empowering women towards social and constitutional rights to make them economically strong. The state government is working with full commitment for the empowerment of women.

Women should get livelihood opportunities

CM said that a large number of women have got livelihood opportunities through the Empowered Brahmin Utsav Scheme. He said that last year also many women had benefited from this initiative. Earlier on Sunday, CM Dhami participated in two Rakshabandhan programs organized in Dehradun. Celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan with women.

Participated in Rakshabandhan program

According to the Chief Minister's Office, he first participated in the Rakshabandhan program organized at Chaudhary Farms. After this, Hathi reached the program organized at Survey Stadium in Barkala. In both the programmes, a large number of women tied Rakhi to the CM and wished him a healthy and long life.
