**Application Portal to Reopen for AEDO Recruitment**
BPSC will re-issue the advertisement for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) recruitment. The Commission will reopen the portal to provide an opportunity for new candidates to apply. Candidates who have already applied are not required to apply again.
According to the Commission, the AEDO recruitment examination will now be conducted in two stages. The previous examination had been cancelled; consequently, the subsequent recruitment process will commence shortly. The preliminary examination is likely to be held in December 2026 or January 2027. The Commission aims to complete the examination and result declaration processes within the scheduled timeframe.
**Update on 71st Main Examination Results**
The results for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (Main) are likely to be released in September. Candidates who appeared for the main examination can download their unevaluated answer sheets between August 24 and August 29. To do so, they will need their roll number, application number, and an OTP sent to their mobile number or email address.
If a candidate notices any error after reviewing the answer sheets, they may file an objection with the Commission by August 29.
**Viral Claims Regarding Language Marks Dismissed**
The Commission has termed the social media claims regarding candidates receiving low marks in Hindi and English subjects as misleading. BPSC stated that data related to the evaluation is not currently available; therefore, candidates should not rely on viral news reports in the absence of official information.
**Controller of Examinations Suspended**
Controller of Examinations Rajesh Kumar Singh has been suspended following a controversy over a statement he made. The General Administration Department took this action following orders from Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. The controversy escalated following the statement made at the press conference. Later, the Controller of Examinations issued a video to clarify the matter and expressed regret if anyone's sentiments had been hurt.
