US Visa NEWS: If you or any of your family members have a dream of going to America and you are waiting for the visa interview date, then this news is directly to you. The administration of US President Donald Trump has temporarily postponed appointments for visa interviews to be held at US embassies and consulates around the world. The US State Department has started sending emails to applicants to reschedule interviews.

After all, why did America suddenly take this step?
According to the US State Department, this ban on visa appointments has been imposed not because of any permanent ban, but because of a special 'Global Training Program' being run for consular officers.

The main objective of this training is to train the officers in such a way that they can conduct more in-depth background checks and financial status of every applicant. The Trump government clearly believes that any foreign citizen coming to America should not become a financial burden on the government funds, funds or welfare schemes there in future. Due to the officers being busy in this in-depth training, the scheduled interview dates are being extended.
