Chumbak Trailer: OTT platform Netflix has released the trailer of its new family comedy series ‘Chumbak’. The story of the series revolves around an urban locality, where neighbors do not just remain neighbours, but become a part of each other’s lives. It is difficult to predict when a small matter in a house becomes the talk of the entire neighborhood.

The production house that makes popular comedy shows like ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ and ‘Khichdi’ has produced this series. ‘Chumbak’ is written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. Its producers are Jamnadas (JD) Majethia and Aatish Kapadia.

The trailer is fun
The story of ‘Chumbak’ presents the everyday life of today’s Indian urban neighborhood in a comedy style. Here, whether it is a small argument in someone’s house or some family problem, the matter soon reaches the neighbours.

Everyone in the neighborhood has some advice regarding someone else’s life. Somewhere there is gossip, and somewhere there are neighbors ready to help in trouble. Humor arises in the story due to the accumulation of these small incidents.

Many different families and their relationships are seen in the trailer. Arjun Bijlani plays the role of Mickey and Helly Shah plays the role of Twinkle. Both are seen immersed in each other’s love and appear happy in their own world.

Whereas Sumeet Vyas is in the role of Aditya and Mansi Parekh is in the role of Priyanka Khanna. On the outside, their relationship appears calm and orderly, but the trailer hints that there are many complications within their relationship as well.

Many families, different stories
‘Chumbak’ is not just the story of a family. Delnaaz Irani, Anant V. Joshi and Amyra Dastur have become members of the Taraporewala family. The relationships of this family and their strange circumstances also provide a touch of comedy.

Apart from this, Sumeet Raghavan will be seen in the role of Dharmendra and Sandeepa Dhar will be seen in the role of Kiran Kejriwal. Through both, different aspects to marriage and relationships have been included in the story.

‘Chumbak’ stars Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Sumeet Raghavan, Sandeepa Dhar, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Sumeet Vyas, Mansi Parekh, Delnaaz Irani, Anant V. Joshi, Amyra Dastur and Atul Kumar in important roles.

This family comedy series will premiere on Netflix on September 10.
